I am very good with animals. I can talk to her and see if she’s having any problems, but I’m sure that it’s just a bit of a confidence issue she will work over.

That’s basically what I said to Barry, you don’t kick a team mate when they’re down. I was off planet when all of this happened, so I’ve only recently found out about it. Dinah’s been trying to handle this problem on her own — not that she couldn’t, but I’d rather not see her and the baby suffer because she’s tried to take on the problem without a little back up.

It’s not much of a team if we’re all putting more effort in to beating each other than our own villains do in a year.

-He nods at the Princesses thank you, his frown practically vanishing.-

No, this is a team problem. Even if Dinah has been dealing the brunt of the backlash. Regardless of Oliver coming back or not, things like this can’t be going on. There are so… there are worse things team members have done, and yet we are all called team members still.  

That is true. And I fear if one of them got wind of this…. what it could mean for us. We need to stand strong if we are to protect this planet. 

[With Hal’s smile, Diana can’t help smiling back at him.]

Yes. We all do, especially when it’s something like this.

Big blue puts us all to shame when it comes to the boy scout and girl scout routine. I’ll give him that. 

I was told that Barry is in charge of the teams morale and that Ollie slipping back in to a bottle is one of the reasons he was suspended. The rest pretty much just sounds like Barry woke up on the wrong side of the bed and decided to stay that way.

As for Ollie?

I haven’t seen him this defeated in a long time. And I don’t like it.

Well then, that’s three votes in favour for the meeting, I knew I could count on you Princess.

Team morale? Well I knew Oliver was having issues with his addiction again, but I don’t recall a meeting on suspending him. I wouldn’t have been in favor of it. During times of addiction and recovery the addict in question needs a good support system if he’s expected to make it through it. 

Well. I can’t force him to stay, but I would like Oliver to stay on the team. And I would like to take steps to repair this, it seems as though the team has been falling apart a bit lately.

So when did the League start appointing leaders here, there and everywhere?  From what I’ve been told by Barry and Ollie, this whole situation between them is stupid. Barry’s acting power mad and Ollie’s refusing to come back to the League even when he’s out of rehab, he feels like he was never part of the team.

I don’t know what I’m meant to do.

I don’t really have a choice, if we do have a meeting I’ll be there.

As far as I know the League has never appointed leaders. Not unless you count Kal, whom I wouldn’t call a leader as much as I would a chairperson. And that’s because that is really a natural position for him, and we didn’t elect anyone in his absence. And no offense to Barry but he most certainly wouldn’t have gotten my vote, he is far too hardheaded for diplomacy. 

What situation between Oliver and Barry? I didn’t know they were fighting. 

I would support this call to a meeting, it seems as though one is a necessary at this point.

No I haven’t. I’m afraid UN business has been predominating my life lately. I haven’t heard anything about Ollie since he checked into rehab.

[Diana’s frown mirrored his own. Had she given perhaps too much to one area of her life and the other went neglected? She didn’t know where the balance needed to be struck. A soft, exhausted sigh pushed past her lips.]

It’s alright Hal, I just didn’t know if there was a mistake that needed correcting. 

As far as I know the league hasn’t had any meetings since we spoke on the Palestinian - Israeli situation.

I’m not twisting your words, I’m letting you know the implications behind your words. And there are a whole host of problems with not only this right here, but also your unwillingness to accept that you could be wrong.
